The reasons that you gave on this blog post are the reasons why I choose to install the Genesis Framework with a child theme. Before that, I only used free blog themes, but yet I had so many problems within a number of years. They weren’t getting updated as much, wasn’t SEO compliant, and above all I kept getting virus’ and malware. So as you know something had to change LOL…. An interesting take on Choosing the best WordPress theme. Some of the basic principle that guide me before choosing a WP theme are :
– The theme must be SEO Friendly
– The theme must have good customer support
– The theme must have responsive design.
There are other factors but these three must not be missing. WordPress Themes come in various brands and features, hence its still important to read reviews and research for the best suitable for a particular blogging niche!
