Scammers – the only I can say about this company. The canceled my “lifetime” account and deleted all files. I wish zoolz go bankrupt
The company I’ve been with for years just told me they are shutting down my account and making it so I can no longer access the data. To continue, now that they have changed their terms of service without warning or notification to users like me who were casual customers not interested in “business plans,” will cost an exorbitant amount which is completely unreasonable when you think about how much we used this product before Zoolz suddenly decided to change things up on us.
I would never trust this company again and I’m not the only one. They cancelled a lifetime subscription, which they probably took my money for (even though it’s hidden in their terms) – who knows what other mistakes they will make? The good thing is at least now that there are no longer taking your data into account once you’re deleted, so hopefully less trouble after deleting them from our profiles!
When shutting down the AU servers they gave 10 days notice and during that time suspended your account so you couldn’t get at your data to recover it. This was after their whole lying about a lifetime subscription offering, which is why I never use this crowd again!

When I asked them why with premium support, it cost $9.99/year which didn’t make sense since there is no difference between one year of service or twenty years for me! How did they even connect us? privacy concern here for sure. in short – I would strongly suggest to have nothing to do with them.
Just an FYI. I purchased the 1TB lifetime package more than a year ago. What Zoolz does not tell you is that all Lifetime users share the same unlimited bandwidth channel. And some of these users have, according to Zoolz “have been abusing this channel. This has led upload speeds to drop for compliant users.” What this has meant for me is that I can only get Zoolz to back up about 380gb of my 1TB and the backup schedule is not respected. I have been trying to back up my entire drive of around 700gb for months and it has never worked. And today when I aske Zoolz about is when they tell me that every lifetime user is sharing the same channel. BUT in the same email they offer a solution – which is a $10/year subscription that – again according to Zoolz – will get me a “my own dedicated channel meaning you will not be affected by other activity on the network”.
So even though I paid for a 1TB lifetime plan I now have to pay $10 a month for the backup schedule to even work!!!
I’m probably going to stop using ZoolZ (at least for cold storage) and start using another service that doesn’t make me pay a subscription for a Lifetime plan just to get it to work.
